I feel like a poser when I pray...

Many of us are hard-wired to jump in and fix things. We thrive on seeing completed tasks...we are a "let's do this" peoples.

I believe technology has a bit to blame for this. Most folks in the universe now have Siri in their back pocket. We know everything about anything all the time... (this does not mean it's all true.)

We need to see results fast;

We can't see the fat we lost so we pose with bags of sugar at the market.

We don't have time to ride with a cycling group so we lay down major cash and Peleton our way to global fame.

I'm not busting on being healthy, but you get the idea, right?

This isn't new. God's people have always been demanding;

Give me THAT food...when they had everything else!

We were better off slaves with food, than wandering here hungry

We want a leader we can see like everyone else

The world needs super heros now because the world seems really scary and unsettled. I am thankful for all the health workers who are serving, the inventors who are developing new masks and ventilaors....

But God is asking us to fight in a way that seems "cute" to all these other super heros....

In the eyes of God, the ones who are trusting their hearts and lives to God are doing a heroic act.

These are the ones who are battling things stronger than any virus.... battling with weapons forged in heaven for a time such as this.

Look, it's not easy for me either.
I'm locked out of all my nuring homes and our street church drew too big a crowd. God is asking me to do a few things, but I want to rush at it head first like my missionary heros of old....

That was THIER call, I must heed what is mine, and trust it is powerful.

We may look like we are  doing nothing in the eyes of the world,  cute little kids in  wrestling suits... but in the realm of the heavenlies, we are giants
