just a place...

There is just "a place" now.... 

Perhaps you have heard someone refer to a place or a gathering as "a thin place", meaning that heaven and earth are so close that there seems to be nothing separating them. 

People tend to judge how "thin" a place is by how they "feel" in that place, such as when people feel a "spiritual high" or an emotional connection with God. 

The Bible would agree, but.....
there is no place where heaven and earth are separated.

God is near to who, the super-holy and confident ones who don't have any fear?

No, read what God says;

"The Lord is close to the brokenheart and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

                                                Psalm 34:18

God does not leave you because you are anxious, no, he runs to you when you cry out for help....and reassures us that He has overcome all things.

"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

After Jesus breathed His final breath, the curtain that separated the Holy Place where the presence of God resided in the temple was torn in two. 

There was no more "thin place"....just a place....

Friends, this is as true this day, as it was on that day. 

God is among us...nearer than our next breath:

"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. 

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—

that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
