get your toe in the game

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?

And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?

And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?

As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
                                        Romans 10:14-15

I want you all to look down at your feet....

You may not have left your place, or traveled very far, but I have been driving them around the city and a neighboring towns.

Your feet are connected to your hearts, and altougth you may not have your whole body engaged in ministry, you have your toe in....and Scripture tells us that all parts of the body are equal....

I many be out and about, but I'm just the truck driver delivering what has been mailed to me, sent to me, dropped to me, or revealed in Scripture.

You have sewn hundreds of masks that are on the faces of the voiceless in the streets.
You filled my front steps with mailed boxes of food that has filled empty stomachs.
You have sent tents and sleeping bags to shelter those outside during this pandemic.

You have supplied me with communion elements so that we could share the body of Christ with the Body of Christ.

You have prayed for me as I've creativly brought pastoral care to the nusring homes, and to my street...

I miss you all and cannot wait for the day we can be together...but be assured, we have been meeting in the heavenly places as a unified body in a way we have never before...

...and I need you, and our friends need you all the more, right now.

We must STOP praying to "get throught this" and change our prayers to "Lord, I want to be with you IN this"

You can get your toe in right now;
1. Pray. Pray. Pray. Join me on Facebook Live every day at 6:30am, Noon, and 7:30pm for a short prayer session. It focuses us on the day and mission and gives us a position to fight from.

2. Join us at "Street Church" every Sunday morning at 9am for a Facebook Live worship from my driveway. Folks show up on the street for social distanced communion. You are welcome to join us! It's the same format we use on Saturday's...it ain't fancy, but God is doing things.

3. Pray for the nursing homes where we have worship communities. We are experiencing death weekly and it hurts. Pray for the residents and the STAFF...these are frontline workers that do not get billboards or donations.

4. Pray for meetings downtown as I spend time with Officer Barrett and alone catching up one-on-one with folks. The word spreads that we show up.

5. Help financially. God's mission has not stopped and neither will we. Partner with us so that we can continue the work that God is doing.

6. Sew masks...we have given out over 100 and have another 200 here but we can always use more.

7. BE THE STREET CHURCH ON YOUR STREET! Be present, be love, pray, worship, share the love.

Thanks for your beutiful feet. I miss you all deeply.

In His love,
Bryan
